@Bowdon+boy

You haven't said why your internet is poor and what Sky have said/done when you've reported it to them.

If you don't feel your Sky broadband is good value for money and you're not in a minimum term deal then change providers. You obviously thought it was a good deal when you agreed to it.

@Bowdon+boy simpke explanation is that your Spanish property has a full fibre connection but your property in the UK probably doesnt. What connection you have in the UK depends on the Openreach (BT as was) line if you still get your service over a copper line then the speed dependson its length and condition nothing Sky can do about thst. Openreach are upgrading their network to full fibre when Sky will be able to sell you a connection up to 900Mb/s.something around 70% of addresses have access to gigabit fibreceither from Openreach or another provider. The 30% thst cant are primarily in rural areas where costs of running fibre is much higher so not commercially viable.

Full fibre lines are far more reliable so cost the operators less to support so prices are often lower. My 500Mb/s Sky service costs £32 per month

I have full sky fibre in in the UK and get 450MB in my basement but  I live in a 4 story town house so in only 30/55mb on upstairs.   And  Sky installed more powerful routers to no effect.  Concrete floors may be an issue.  Other I noticed that next door have had theres re installed with Fibre coming in at ground level rather than underground.

No UK legal router has a 'more powerful' signal than any other: maximum broadcast output is strictly regulated.

Well, yes.
