Re: Ordering sky max extender pod
If you have Wi-Fi Max on your account then Sky will loan up to 3 pods as you can read about here:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max
So you can either call them on 150 from a landline phone or a mobile that has a Sky sim in it or Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom on the above link.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can

Re: Ordering sky max extender pod
If you already have Wi-Fi Max', or now choose to purchase it as an add-on (currently £6 a month), Sky will loan you up to 3 booster pods. Call Sky to arrange the first one which is for self install. Just dial 150 free from your Sky Talk landline.
To add a second or third pod it requires an engineer visit to check your set up.

Re: Ordering sky max extender pod
@BobbySue67 An alternative to a Sky extender is to buy one from the likes of Argos.
You will need a couple of things:
One, confidence to read/watch videos & follow the instructions of how to install your extender (trust me it is not rocket science 😄).
Two, at least £16.99 to buy one.
Best of luck

Re: Ordering sky max extender pod
@2muchTV a word of warning to extend the Sky Max hub the extender has to support the 5GHz channel over ch52 which the cheap ones usually dont as you cannot control which channel the hub uses you can often end up only extrnding the slower 2.4GHz band. Generally if wanting to use third party kit link them bt Ethernet not WiFi.

Good point... the cheapest Argos extender is just one channel on the 2.4GHz band. You have to pay £22.99 for a dual channel model.
