Ordered Sky Hub a month ago, awaiting dispatch

Hi, I set up My Sky package ready to move into My first home almost a month ago and Sky hub still says awaiting dispatch, I got the Sky TV/Puck on the 19th and am moving in in a few days now, but Sky hub still hasn't changed status? Is there any reason why or anything to help? thanks

Whens your activation date? Hubs are dispatched through Royal Mail and Sky try to arrange it to arrive 1-4 days prior to the activation.

Hi,

 

Activation date is the 8th, move in is a few before then, ah okay I figured they'd be delivered with the puck lol, I'll give it a couple more days and see if there's any update, is there a reason why it's done that way or?

Once the hub has been dispatched you can track it. No need for anyone to be in but be aware the postie will leave it supposedly hidden and post a note through the letterbox where it is. Behind a bin is a favourite but hopefully not what one postman did and put it in the bin on collection day!

That's good then I was worried as I'm only off for a couple of days around that time and can't get any more off but it's relieving to know it's arranged closer to the time 🙂 And no stress there atleast, the bins are in a locked shed lol

My son joined Sky in November. His hub was received 5 days before activation and it was actually a day before tracking said it would arrive. Fortunately he had a text as well as a card through the letterbox and we were able to retrieve it from behind a bin whilst he was at work.
