I today purchased sky broadband and during the purchase it gave a day and time when an engineer would arrive, I then awaited for confirmation email, received it but it only gave the date and no other info, I now can't finger any info as it is asking for sign in details, which I don't have as I'm a new customer, how do I retrieve the info I need

You need to setup a Sky ID by proving the account number you might have been given:
https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/sky-id/sky-id

When I went to the "help" option I set up a sky I'd, but when I sign in it says user email wrong, it is the same email address that when I placed my order I received the original email confirming my purchase but with no other info, it was confirmed when I purchased my broadband ( wifi only no landline) as I don't have a phone socket , that I would be sent my box but also would have an engineer to come on the 5th of November to help with the set up as I don't have a phone line, I just need the info as I will be working and will need someone to be at home for this, it's just frustrating 😩😩

Is it maybe because I've ordered the "hub" wifi which is just plugged into a socket and not a phone line? Will I just receive the box and plug it in to an electrical socket? Apologies I'm **bleep** with all this 🙈😂
