Orange light on (internet) router.
Internet keeps dropping out randomly, when looking at the router an orange light is displayed above the internet writing. Both me and my partner work from home and its becoming very frustrating!

Re: Orange light on (internet) router.
@Stathie If the internet light is still amber then follow the directions in the information below.
Can you please run the broadband test, this can be done either via the Sky app on mobile data or use the link below.

If it finds an external fault it should enable you to book an engineer.

I am the same, 4 times in the 10 minutes. Sky app says no issues, however apparently no devices connected to my wifi

Re: Orange light on (internet) router.
We are currently having this issue.
As of today (5pm ish) the Internet drops out, then router recycles then Internet comes back on, only for this to repeat again.
Eventually after an hour this stopped but now our download speeds are a third (about 20) of what we were getting (used to be about 60) with virtually no upload speed (about 1).
What can I do now?
We've not changed anything in the house, this just started happening.

Re: Orange light on (internet) router.
@kewellguy it sounds like you have an older partial fibre connection which is having issues. It is possible that Sky's service checker in the My Sky app has picked up the speed drop in which case it is likely to offer to get an engineer to check your line. If it has not then call Sky and report the issue to see if they can get Openreach out to run a check.
