Optical Network Terminal attached to wall using adhesive tape
I recently had Sky Broadband installed... an Openreach engineer came round and installed the white internal Optical Network Terminal box. Affixed to the wall using double sided adhesive tape! Within a couple of weeks the box had fallen off the wall.
Anyone else had a similar experience?

@andy1245 Bit of a cowboy job there, I would give Sky a call to get it rectified.
Was it Openreach or a 3rd party contractor like Quinn?

To be fair i had MJ Quinn do mine at it was fine as it was nothing like that using tape as they made a neat job of it.

Re: Optical Network Terminal attached to wall using adhesive tape
This is unacceptable defientely complain to Openreach as tehy are responsible, they will then laise with the subcontractor to arrange a solution. I cant see any reason why they would have that that in this case except laziness, also the hole where the fibre cable comes in is too big.

@Tommy2 Openreach won't deal with the OP as they are not OR's customer, Sky is, they need to call Sky to get it rectified.

Re: Optical Network Terminal attached to wall using adhesive tape
@GD1 This isnt true actually, an Openreach subcontactor casued damage to my property during installation and whilst I have spoken to Sky and explained techincally Sky are they customer, I have a right to coplain myself, anyway I complained to Openreach directly and as a result the subcontactor has been liasing with me and as a result they are visiting tomorrow, you can make claims and compalints rirectly with Openreach.
