Sky engineer came to our house as wifi signal not reaching around the property.
Whilst here he says we are now able to get fibre. He tells us to call Sky and book installation.
2 months later, and nothing.
Taken days off work to wait at home for engineer appointments, and they don't turn
up. Openreach are a law unto themselves.
They are not contactable. Sky say they cannot book appointments due to the way Openreach have their calendar. I can't reschedule via the link Openreach sent 4 days after missing the most recent appointment, because it opens a Web page that says I cant book and to contact my provider.
So I contact Sky today - "sorry we can't book anything. By the way they came to your house this morning but there was no one home" IF THEY DON'T TELL YOU THEY ARE COMING, HOW DO THEY EXPECT YOU TO BE HOME?!!!!!!!!!!!
Text tonight saying Openreach are about to call you- phone rings and I answer within two rings - they hang up.
An utter shambles.
Will we get Fibre this decade??! Who knows.
