Was with sky for 2 years on superfast with speed on AVG 63mbps and min 59.5mps. Since start December has gradually reduced through 50s through 40s and now around 35mps. Nothings changed my end and we are close to cabinet etc. Went to renew today as contract is up soon and now only guaranteed 30mbps. What can happen that in a month the speed has been throttled back and had anyone else experienced this.

You cannot be very close to the cabinet to have had those speeds in the first place.
The most likely explanation is a degradation in the individual copper circuit to your address, and/or the cabinet itself has become heavily populated (which increases crosstalk interference)
Unfortunately the concentration of resources on the national FTTP rollout means there's a reduced likelihood of FTTC issues being resolved.

No real idea but I'm pretty sure cabinet is at end of my road. Did the BT availability checker and got the following which looks to be the speeds I had previously. But I'm not really sure about what's what there.
