Hi, I have waited 2 weeks for an engineer to come and install a phoneline and set up broadband following a house move, he has been today and spent a good 3 hours trying to sort it but was unsuccessful and left saying he needs a lifter to get high enough to fix the problem.
I have tried to call Sky to get an update on a likely ETA but nobody can help and they are passing me around from dept to dept. Just wondered if anybody else had had a similar problem and how long you waited?
Thanks

Unfortunately that's just impossible to predict, because it requires both the hardware to be available in your local area and personnel trained and certified to operate it.

Thanks @TimmyBGood as far as I know everything is there and available, they just need a lifter to be able to get high enough on the pole.

Yes, that's the hardware I'm referring to.
