Openreach fibre install - service not working

Openreach completed the internal work at my house, but said my service wouldn't work due to a fault in the local area. The copper line was removed, and as a new customer I had no option to order copper. The engineer said it could be a couple of weeks before the local issue is fixed. As far as I know, everything is set up to connect the property with the Openreach box which is burried in the garden just outside my house.

Sky haven't given me a date for resolution of the fault. The new white box has a red light by LOS. Any experience with this or ways to expedite the resolution? There is no data service at home, phone calls only work in the garden - I've tried all 4 networks. It's proving quite challenging working from home without any internet.

@TEx18  Neither Sky nor you  can expedite a fault resolution, Openreach will be working on it, until they fix the fault you'll just need to wait.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
