Openreach down after storm Amy
We live in a Scottish island that has been cut off by Storm Amy since Friday.
we can't get Sky until Openreach fix the cable which could be weeks.
I want to register this with Sky but cannot get hold of anyone.
there has been no phone signal either so impossible.
VOIP is absolutely useless in an emergency. Only the few people still with an old copper wire phone or Starlink have had any contact.
any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Do you live in the Shetland Islands as discussed here?

Re: Openreach down after storm Amy
Thanks but every fibre user on the island comes via an Openreach cable which apparently broke 600 metres offshore! So no neighbours have a connection.
Thanks for that link though. That's what I was looking for but the online chatbot couldn't help and eventually pointed me to this community page.
