Hey,
so I've just got back from holiday and as I'm turning everything back on my openreach modem has failed to turn on, no lights, nothing... turned off, turned on... unplugged, plugged back in and nothing. Anyone got any ideas of this? The socket is working so must be the unit?

Presumably, yes. You'll need to log the fault with Sky: they will probably book Openreach to replace the
ONT.
Edit: that's assuming it's an FTTP connection. If it's ADSL or FTTC then an external Openreach modem is obsolete anyway.
