Open reach fibre installation

We've been waiting since the beginning of March to have our fibre installation completed. Every week sky just send us an message saying we will be updated next week. All cables have been laid and new connection box installed but we need openreach to come and connect them together. Anyone else having issues getting in touch with sky/open reach? The contractors who dug up the pavement have damaged in front of our house and we can't get anyone to take ownership and fix it. Getting really frustrated and considering leaving Sky and moving to Virgin. Any suggestions as best ways to resolve this? Thanks

@Stan19

Have you spoken to Sky by calling them about this ?

@Stan19 in all cases you need to be speaking to Sky. I would take photos of the damage and detail your issues as a formal complaint . See How to make a Sky complaint | Sky Help | Sky.com

You can cancel at no cost but it may complicate getting the damage repaired. Openreach are a frustrating organisation to deal with as they give very limited updates to Sky.

Re: Open reach fibre installation

Thanks for your response.

Yes many times but they just say they will get back to us with an update and there is never a resolution
