OAT

Conversion kid come but no oat with it what should I do as sky said no need to be home for switch on

I'd assume you mean ONT (for Optical Network Terminal)

 

That doesn't come with the conversion kit, which is just an ethernet cable.

 

Either there's an ONT allocated to the address already (but possibly removed in error by a previous occupant) or there's an installation of one due to happen.

@PP39 suspect you mean ONT which is brought and fitted  by the engineer when they come to fit the service. If your fibre service is not due to have an engineer Openreach think there is an ONT already in the property which may have been taken by the last resident if thst applies call Sky and report the fact to them.

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate whether an ONT is meant to be present already.
