Hey, we've just moved into a new house but there's no power socket near the master phone socket so the only option we have is to either run an extension lead or a long Ethernet/phone cable across the living room so we can plug the router in. As you can imagine that's not what we want as a long term option. What other options do we have?

It looks initially like you would need to get a longer rj11 to rj11 dsl cable and once you connection is up and running contact sky for a mastersocket relocation so the mastersocket in a better location

I thought as much, had to order a conversion kit from sky as the master socket only has one BTRJ45 socket but I don't think the new cable they provide will be long enough
