Broadband setup
I recently moved into a flat and orders sky broadband superfast. Today is activation date and got confirmation via sms that my broadband is active. I setup my hub. The internet light on hub is flashing amber for an hour and no internet connection yet. Please help to resolve this ASAP

Re: Broadband setup
@Durga1 What connection type do you have to your superfast broadband! Also copy off the Electronic version so you can double check that you have done it correct.

Re: Broadband setup
- I have sky broadband hub. I followed the process and done setup correctly. The power and wifi light are solid green but the internet light is flashing amber. I did repeated the setup again and still see my internet light flashing amber. Not sure if the internet is active or not.

Re: Broadband setup
@Durga1 With the flashing amber then i would say not, the object of the post was for the connection type but if you say you've got it right then that is all you can do, fact that you said you had the activation text then would have liked green with possible no data, but it is up to midnight on the activation day and sometimes the automated messages just do not get it right!
Will assume you are connected on the OR socket/master socket and connected to the DSL port on the back off the hub! Have the connection correct, and if you wish and are in the UK then the serial number of the hub starts D2....

Re: Broadband setup
No technician turned up as planned today. It's been 5 days since activation date but no resolution yet. Whom should I contact if the technician is arranged or not?

Re: Broadband setup
Nothing in my order. I contacted sky over phone and told no planned schedule today from their end and arranged an engineer for this Thursday.
