@Christine8606 if you can use whats app on your phone it sounds like it is connected tomthe internet. You can test whether it is by using Safari to open a web page like bbc.co.uk. Whether yiu can use the phone to make calls over WiFi is down to your mobile provider most allow it but a few don't.
