No internet!

No internet/tvsince last night in the Leicester area. Made numerous calls to Sky, and eventually was told that there are issues in the area. However, this is not reflected in the outage updates so I'm very confused as to what's true and what isn't.

When you run the service checker initially the test results are historic.  You can continue thru the service checker by clicking on your speed and click check my connection in the blue box

I appreciate that some results may be historic but there are still no known issues apparently. It doesn't make sense. At what point do we ask for an engineer?

@cookiemonsteruk I understand that some results may be historic, but you would expect the system to catch up a few hours later. This may be a job for the engineer but I have no idea! I mean, how long do you wait until service is restored? It's been 17 hrs.

According to the istheservicedown and downtector website this is affecting bt as well so hopefully openreach are on the case

 

If the service checker ,which usually updates every 15 minutes, isn't updating then the only way would be to call sky again

@cookiemonsteruk Thank you for responding.  Trying to contact Sky has been painful to say the least. I will try again and see what they say. Unfortunately, the service checker is showing issues with the TV but nothing around the Broadband which is strange. Thanks again.

What colour lights are on your sky hub ?

Do you have sky glass or stream?

 

The issues with sky tv is probably making up the bulk of the calls
