No internet or G mail

I can't access my gmail on Google or other web page and yet I can get these on my. Pad. I phoned Sky earlier and he said turn your modem off, I did that and it disconnected the call not good advice. Did troubleshot in the Lap top and it said connected but low quality. When Sky said there was a fault they said they would text me. Nothing after 24 hours. Where do I go from here. I'm sure it's a Sky network fault. We are in the WA7 area. Must get it fixed by Monday as I have a Teams meeting . Thanks

Does your laptop show a good strong signal to your Wifi, if not does the signal improve if you are right near your broadband hub ?

Yes it shows a good signal to the wi Fi but when I try to teams it says poor quality network. Google is grey and if I click my inbox for g mail it just spins round what do you think?

Have you tried rebooting your laptop ?

Thanks yes I have rebooted etc it says DNS cannot be found when I try to access the internet it e mail. I think it's a fault on the network
