Having the same issue the past 2 weeks in Naas, support seem reluctant to fix, time to change providers?

I've also been dealing with extremely slow speed and outrageous high latency (9mb download/1.1s latency). The service provided by Sky is a joke. We're looking to switch to another provider.

Im paying for 1000mb/s, Normally during the day I get about ~800mb/s but bang on 8pm since last wednesday its dropping to around 50mb/s. I can handle that speed I grew up back **bleep** of clare with 1mb/s but the ping is abolsulty crazy, Cant play any games on the xbox, brother rents a room off me and Fifa is coming out this week cant wait to hear him mouthing off until its fixed

Right folks, looks like mine is fixed (Wicklow town). Speeds are perfect this evening and location is Ireland! Fingers crossed it lasts.

Mine was bad from 5 to 8pm but has been fine since - still showing my location as UK but speeds/latency have been fine

Ours were fine last night ! Yay!  Wicklow town. Long may it last.

Still dreadful to unusable in Naas last night after 8PM. Measured 2Mbps down at one point, and occasional packet loss.

All ok in enniskerry last night. First night in about 7.

Mine was still slower than normal, but usable (Greystones). Also sky.com was showing Irish flag.

I had enought of their nonsence and lack of action so I cancelled. They didnt resitst letting me break my contract early. I've signed up with Vofafone FTTH.

Not sure switching supplier will fix unfortuantly...havint the very same issues with Vodafone NBI FTTH almost every evening. There might be one day its fine but happens most evenings. A reboot of the modem resolves until the next day
