I was on to them this morning and had to have a right go at them about it, they wanted to troubleshoot my connection again and wanted to split my network and change channels etc, I told them no as this was clearly a widespread issue that needs addressing at source. I informed them of numerous threads on this forum and local Facebook communities etc reporting the exact same behaviour and timeframes etc. I also informed them I'd be seeking to be compensated over this.

How did they respond to this?

Seems like the issue is still around

I have noticed I'm not geolocating to england tonight however, my speeds have already hit 0.5mbps and 1200 ping so loading a website is non existent

I have 2000 ping and 0.11mbps. Says I am in Ireland so that's some comfort.

Oh look, 8pm and like clockwork there's no internet or TV again. In to the second week of this now. We really need to get this fixed ASAP @Chloe-W22

@DannyW2 How are you checking your geolocation? FindMyIP websites tell me Dublin Ireland, but I'm getting ads targeted to UK customers and if I check sky.com it has the UK flag at the bottom right.

@Addie15 - the chat bubble has disappeared. How can I get it back?
16 Sep 2024 08:43 PM
Do we have any idea how widespread the issue is, clearly not all customers are impacted otherwise it would have been sorted last week. I'm stating to lose faith in it being resolved anytime soon and think I might just pull the plug on Sky completely

@Jogarty oh I was basing it off one of those sites, because yesterday it was showing me as being in Brent, UK. and dublin now. Sky.com is showing ireland for me and tv ads are irish when yesterday they were uk ads

Same here in Newtownmountkennedy, only started few weeks ago, I have broadband since April and no issues before. All the neighbours have the same, so must be issue with Sky, yet they ask people to do speed test all the time. Very unprofessional.

Same

for me tonight in Delgany. I'm down around 2Mbps from 8:30 onwards. IP location showing as UK. Should've stayed with Vodafone..
