@Nico8 If you are relying on a single Sky hub to get WiFi in a loft 2 floors away its surprising it ever worked rather than its odd its not working now. Wifi signal strength is lost when it passes through solid objects like walls floors etc. if you require good coverage in a distant part of your home while using wifi extenders can can work a better solution is powerline networking adapters that use the mains wiring to carry the data.
These come in a kit you plug one into a wall socket near the hub and link it by the included Ethernet cable the second is plugged in in the loft and can be connected to equipment by Ethernet or you can buy the adapters with built-in wifi access points. Plan on getting roughly 20% of thecrared output of the extenders.
