No internet - How do I contact sky

had no internet all day.

reset ONT and reuter, all lights are green.

faulted through website but just states some one will check within 72hrs. 

 

I do not have a sky phone, so I cannot ring 150. I have fibre500

There is no way to track a fault on the sky account or even see if it has in fact been faulted. 

 

can anyone provide a contact number or anyway to actually contact sky and get a fault reference at the very least.

@nocontact1 the forum software does not allow posting of phone numbers. Either follow through the help pages to get a relevant number from the contact us link or if impatient do an online search but all Sky's customer numbers start 03 so avoid any other numbers to avoid extra carges.

you really are a better (wo)man than me, looking on the sky site, I really could not find anything and kept going round in circles. Think Bill Murrey and Groundhoog Day.

 

However a quick google for sky numbers that start with 03 finally yielded a positive result, courtesy of google and your hint.

 

I am stunned. I am currently on hold to sky in anticipation of actually speaking to a person and have a sense that I am on a perilous journey of adventure.

@nocontact1 Sky are actually one of the better call centres I've dealt with over the years, unlike most of 'em they actually understand my strong local accent, and I don't end up having to do my infamous "I am speaking English in a Sheffield accent!" speech, which more often than not, goes down like the flippin' Titanic.

Sky did ok in the end. I spoke to a nice lady who was helpful. I suspect her first langauge was not English but we understood each other easy enough. I have a Barnsley-ish twang, She was helpful , professional and pleasant. She checked my  line. confirmed the fault was outside my home, she logged the fault. gave me the reference. the fault appeared on my orders on the sky account. She advised me of a repair time and today it has been repaired. cant complain.
