So. Had fibre installed last year, other than some issues with WiFi strength not being as hot in some areas as before, all fine- and I know that's our problem and we need to look at boosters. Saturday- it goes off and is completely not working. Follow all the online advice - tells me everything is fine- it clearly isn't. Chat on Saturday early evening gets me through to an agent who does some tests, looks at some photos they ask me to send of the box, and says oh fear- there is a fault outside your home, I'll sen an engineer, you don't need to be at home and we aim to fix it in two working days.
since then- nothing. No text, no sign of anything on order tracking - no emails from sky, NOTHING. How can I tell if anything has been booked- do I just wait and hope? Cannot get through on the phone, or chat. How can I get any information or reassurance? Any ideas lovely community?
thanks in advance...

Re: No idea whether an engineer has been booked….
To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at this bottom of this page.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:
https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147
When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.

Re: No idea whether an engineer has been booked….
Thank you very much super user and sky employee- they tried some stuff with me this morning over the private chat on here and then referred me to a 03 number. Lovely guy was on for an hour, checked that the external fix had been done (it had) and then the remotely sorted whatever it was that was stopping my house benefitting from the fix- I was at work so had to trust it was sorted- it was! Very pleased, thank you for your help.
