No broadband
This has happened twice now within a week. Broadband dropping and test's saying alls good but no internet. Pay extortionate fees and get terrible speeds and unreliable connectivity.

Re: No broadband
@Vincent63 the recent bad weather has caused numerous faults especially if you have a partial fibre service where the last section is using a copper phone cable thst could be decades old. Happens every winter which is part of the reason why Openreach are spending tens of billions on installing full fibre.
Whether anything can be done will depend on the frequency of line drops as Openreach only send out engineers when the automatic line management equipment have not stabilised the line which can take 10 days or where drops reach 10 a day. However you can call and ask Sky
If you feel you are paying more than you should shop around and when the fixed term of your contract expires use the one touch switch system to change isps. However if your new supplier still uses the Openreach line its unreliabiliityis going to move with you.
