No broadband
Has anyone else been experiencing a severe lack in WiFi broadband connection recently?
Our system dips in and out constantly throughout the day. This has been happening for at least 3-4 weeks and the Sky service checker is inconsistent in showing that there is a problem.
It is extremely frustrating when we have a Sky TV which runs off of broadband as we are unable to watch either our tv or Sky pick!
I've now also used all my phone data so having to pay additional extra data costs, on top of our very expensive monthly sky costs (which we refuse to pay until everything actually works properly).

Withholding payment is very unwise. Sky will restricted your services, you won't be able to speak to Sky and late payment fees will be added. This could ultimately lead to debt collectors being involved.

Re: No broadband
Would you pay for a service you do not receive for such a long period of time? Anyway, that is besides the point of this post. I would like to know what if anyone else is having this issue and whether or not it is being looked in to and ultimately, fixed.

Re: No broadband
You mentioned it in your post so I was pointing out the pitfalls of doing this.

At any point in time, tens of thousands of individual Openreach circuits across the country will have faults, and so thousands of Sky customers will be affected alongside about twice as many customers of BT/EE/Plusnet, plus those of Vodafone, TalkTalk and all the other ISPs on that network. This is inevitable, particularly on the legacy copper distribution which was never intended to carry data.

Re: No broadband
So that's the issue, what's the resolution. How do Sky know's there a problem, if the connection keeps sporadically keeps cutting out and the TEST varies in OK to you're having a problem?
