We have had no broadband since last saturday. Went through all the steps on my sky. Engineer booked but no date of arrival. No phone number to contact sky. Not answering tweets or DMs. Tried WhatsApp was told just to wait. Surely sky can tell me whether there is a problem or not.

Sky Ireland Customer Services are not open at weekends. So if you need to contact them on Monday to see if they've had an update on a repair dial 150 (free) from a Sky Talk landline or a Sky mobile or alternatively use the following link
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ leading to a 0333 number.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ to see a dedicated ROI number.
The posting of full phone numbers isn’t permitted on the forum.
Any calls to Sky will initially be automated which may try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

Unfortunately I can't seem to find any phone numbers on the Irish site. I did get a number off someone yesterday and it gave me an option to use WhatsApp. But after waiting 5 hours I was told to wait another day and they'd contact me today again but heard nothing. Is there a way to see if there is an outage in certain areas like the way the ESB and Irish water have on their websites?

I have already provide the link above. I've just changed the flag to the ROI flag and it provides a 0818 number so you need to call it after the weekend.

Found the number from the link had to keep refreshing the page to get it. Was able to get through to sky customer service today so they must be open at weekends. Engineer coming Tuesday so hopefully it'll be up and running.

I am in North Cork as well and my broadband has had LOS since January 31st. I was told on the 31st, it would be a week. And engineer would be sent out. Rang this morning, given run around. Told no engineer would be sent out and that the broadband dept were investigating and they would hopefully fix it remotely. I asked if I could speak to the broadband dept myself and she said no I wasn't allowed to speak to them. That they may contact me. But that it would take another 10 days from Monday the 10th. And that I didn't need to ring again because the broadband dept were investigating. I have been with Sky for over 20 years and the service has never been so bad. Was your broadband fixed? Because i don't know what they are doing now or what I should do 🤨🤷🏻♀️

Hi I was told it would be fixed Tuesday 4th. On Wednesday 5th I was told they don't know when it will be fixed and couldn't give me even a rough idea of when it would be even looked at. I understand they must be under pressure but they should at least let people know if they are going to be waiting another few weeks.

My contract is up in May and i am already looking at other providers after 23 years. The lady I spoke to today was so unhelpful. My app says there is an engineer booked no ETA or date but she said I wasn't getting an engineer. It is very frustrating. There is only so much I can do on my phone data. I hope we both hear something soon!
