I just checked on MySky after receiving the email again re the switch off and there is still no alternative to my current copper broadband. Surely they cannot switch off if the technology os not there yet

Re: No alternative available
If Sky have emailed you to say they can not continue to provide your broadband then you do need to look at alternative suppliers otherwise you run the risk of being left with no supplier if you do nothing about it.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can

Re: No alternative available
@Batsakas Have you checked via your postcode to see what else is around be the mobile broadband or anything else like that?
Could you post a screenshot of the information you get from this form, that private information is in the top left, so can you leave that off please.

Sky can, yes. The Universal Service Obligation provider is BT.

It's extremely unlikely that Sky is the only provider: BT/EE has presence everywhere apart from (for bizzare historical reasons) Kingston upon Hull.

Re: No alternative available
So unfortunately (assuming there's not a table above that image) you're looking at the BT* 'transitional' provision over SOADSL, which is the digital equivalent of the legacy 'up to' 24Mbs full copper ADSL product: actual speed might well be a lot less as it's effectively obsolete technology.
You might want to look at cellular data, or even Starlink.
*BT because other ISPs may well not offer SOADSL at all.

Re: No alternative available
Thank you will have a look. Cellular data won't work for CCTV etc.
