Hi all,
My router has started dropping out this morning and I can't work because the signal.is not working. My router's lights are as follows: solid green, flashing orange and keeps cutting out, solid green, solid orange. Gemini has confirmed that this is likely to be an issue with the external cabling or the terminal box - and now I don't know what to do. I am a data analyst and need to be able to work. Can you help please?
Thanks and regards,
Anton.

@Anton12 Regardles of what Gemini says poleae follow the steps here: First thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker
If there isn't try running the line test here:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.
After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Re: No WiFi: need to work:
It's worth adding that Sky broadband discussed here is a domestic service and whilst Sky are apparently fine with its customers working from home using it for this purpose they won't receive additional or quicker support.

No terrestrial ISP can guarantee uninterrupted service: the topology of the national cabled network makes that completely impossible.
Where a connection is critical, it's worth considering providers which offer automated failover to cellular data.
