Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSky doesn't contact individual customers when there's an outage. They may not even know there is one if no one has reported it yet. You need to report it to Sky if it's still down this morning. Openreach give a 2 day target fix time for domestic connections and there is no priority service for people wfh.
This link outlines auto compensation for when there is a total loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk.

If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full working days from when you first report the fault to Sky, you will become eligible for it. It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your account.
