No Internet connection
I have just had new fibre broadband instilled and I gave been left with no WIFI. I notified sky engineer before he left that I can see my Internet isn't connected he dismissed me.by letting me know his pad confirms am connected and that was all.that mattered. I called the customer service team and I was told to wait for 24hrs to 10days to get my Internet connected . I was also told if I had a business account I would be cimpensated but since am an ordinary Joe,it is what it is and that was it. No solution has been offered. Sky standards have dropped!

It's not unusual for data to only start flowing after midnight at the end of the activation date
I called the customer service team and I was told to wait for 24hrs to 10days to get my Internet connected .
That's kind of correct, but confused. 24, hours might apply to the above, while ten days is the 'settling in' period (actually bogus for FTTP but applicable to FTTC)
I was also told if I had a business account I would be cimpensated but since am an ordinary Joe,it is what it is and that was it.
That's incorrect: delayed activation is covered by the Ofcom-backed compensation scheme.
