First thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:

https://www.sky.com/servicechecker

If there isn't try running the line test here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Please be aware that outages after midnight are usually down to maintenance, please see this pinned post https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/Important-Notice-Scheduled-Broadband-Maintenance/td-p/5151847...

Re: No Internet connection

Thank you for trying to help. Have checked and tried all of that and nothing is working and service checker says everything is fine. If there is maintenance work it would be nice to be informed. Considering there's a few of us from the same area having issues I'm guessing it is maintenance

Re: No Internet connection

Judging by the various posts, this may be a nationwide problem.

@MT110

If it was a nationwide issue the forum board will have gone into meltdown. There have been less than 20 posts on this thread.

As stated by @GD1 any broadband issues between midnight and 6-7am could be essential overnight maintenance taking place which is carried out then to minimise disruption. There’s no pre-warning of this. See this pinned post at the top of the Broadband board from Sky which could be relevant any night this happens…
https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/Important-Notice-Scheduled-Broadband-Maintenance/td-p/5151847...

If you have an ONT box displaying a red light, see this further advice…
https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband-Talk/Can-t-connect-to-broadband-and-have-a-red-light-on-your-...

This link provides information about the coloured lights you may see on the various hubs

Hopefully it’s back up and running before 7am.

Re: No Internet connection

It may well be the forum hasn't gone into meltdown as it's the middle of the night. I'm up and working as I'm closing a transaction in the US. Suffice to say it is 04.40 and there is still no internet connection. Sky have informed me there is an issue which they are working to resolve.
