No Internet PA1 Area

Has anyone had an issue in PA1 1 area of Paisley?

Dropped out at 4pm yesterday, still not back on at 7pm.  Every time I try to run a broadband test, I get the "oops, this service isn't working at the moment" message so can't get further.

Did all the usual router resets, green lights on power and WiFi but no light on Internet.

Phoned sky, initial person said router issue and they'd send a router in 3-5 working days, told them that's not good enough as I work remotely and can't just not work for a week. They transferred me to someone else who said it's an openreach issue and should be resolved shortly. 16 hours later, still no Internet. Sky haven't reported any known issues in my area and downdetector doesn't have any meaningful reports either.

At a complete loss as I need to work, and Sky mobile is so bad at home I don't get mobile reception so I can't hot-spot to work.

Anyone know what I can try next? How long do openreach usually take to resolve a fault (if it is openreach!) Or is there a way to get a new router sent out quicker?

Frustrating at it is Sky is a cheaper end domestic service and wfh does not afford you a quicker repair or quicker delivery of any replacement equipment.

If it is an Openreach issue the below link explains the Ofcom agreed auto compensation scheme which Sky operates for when there is a TOTAL loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation

If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full WORKING days from when you notify Sky of the fault, you will become eligible for it. It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your Sky account (new rates apply from 01/04/24 of £9.76 per day).
