@Kerry120 the voice light is for the digital voice service that replaces the old analogue phone line. It can go amber and data doesn't flow due to a fault in the node used to manage your connection on Sky's servers. These faults can be cleared by Sky but it takes time.
If afftected powering you hub down for 60 minutes usually gets you into another node or use the disconnect/reconnect option in the hub's web interface the link to which is at the borrom left of the main maintenance page.
