No Internet - GU14

Currently have no Internet, service checker states there is a known outage and should be fixed in a couple of days???? Where can I get a better estimate of how long this outage will be for. Can't get anywhere with sky help!!

Sky normally quote 2 WORKING DAYS as a potential fix time. This is the service level agreement in the UK between ISPs and Openreach for fixing a fault as Openreach claim to be successful within that timeframe in 85+% of cases.

@Chris+666  If there is an outage you won't get any better estimates as CS staf won't know what the fault is and would only be guessing at best.

 

You will simply need to wait.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

There's no way of doing so, unless, for example the local press is covering a major outage caused by something like vandalism, fire, theft or impact damage to a cabinet.
