New to SKY, connection date is today however plugged the hub in and despite the hub displaying four green lights, im unable to connect any devices to the hub.
When I run the troubleshoot function on the app (whilst on 4g), it says theres no issues, so not able to book engineer or get any further.
Anyone got any ideas how to fix?
Attached pic of openreach box incase relevant, the black cable is fitted into the WAN input on the back of the hub, as per the how-to, and I have no other cables attached (aside from power cable).

What lights are on the sky hub?
It could be 24:00 this evening before data flows

Green on the internet means broadband has already been activated by sky.

Which hub did you receive the black sr203 or the white sky max hub
Try switching the ont and sky hub off at the socket and then on again

I'm flummoxed. What devices are you trying to connect?
17 Jun 2024 07:32 PM
@cookiemonsteruk yeah it's odd for sure, I've tried to connect my iPhone, MacBook, windows laptop, smart tv. The hub shows up to connect to from available networks on each device, then once I've put the password in and try to load anything, nothing works!
Which is why I'm wondering now if it's some kind of configuration issue...

Apple products do have issues connecting but the smart tv and windows devices should work no problems
Could you use ethernet on your tv or windows device ?
17 Jun 2024 07:52 PM
I have the setup, but where you have a black ethernet cable going from the o n t box to the hub I have a white lead

@cookiemonsteruk tried to connect to the tv via ethernet but saying connection failed. I'm at a loss here, wonder if it could be a faulty hub

A fauly hub would explain a lot
Certainly skys first solution would be to replace it
