New sky hub max changing its name back
I have recently upgraded to a new sky max hub and changed it name and password to the old sky network name and password so I wouldn't have to reconnect all my devices.
Worked great, but waking up the next morning it seems to have reverted to the old name.
Changed it again, and it changed back!
The changes are all through the MySky app and show as fine, but something is reverting them.
Any help?

@Tinybob do you have Sky Q boxes by any chance?

Re: New sky hub max changing its name back
I have this same issue and I have a sky Q box + multi room. Is this what is causing the name to revert, and is there a work around?

Re: New sky hub max changing its name back
@Helldiver6 The Sky Max hub is not fully compatable with the Sky Q system and I suspect the issue is related to that. I would leave the new hub to use its default SSID/Password and go through the pain of connecting your non Sky Q boxes to that. Then connect the main Sky Q box to that SSID using the non Sky router option of entrring the password rather than using wps. Only then connect any Sky Q minis and old Sky boosters to the main Q box using wps not the hub..
You will have two Sky SSIDs visible but only the new hub will allow your own devices to connect. The wifi hotspots the Q boxes produce cannot be used to connect other devices so you may find the wifi signal in more distant rooms from the hub have poor wifi.if tgst applies consider buying Sky's WiFi Max package see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max
