HP printer won’t connect to new router
Ever since we have changed to a Sky Max rougher my HP printer will not connect to the WIFI at all, driving me mad as I need it for working from home.
Tried numerous times switching everything off and in again and the router but nothing

Re: HP printer won’t connect to new router
Have you tried setting up your printer as if it was a new one so searching for your new network name and then using the new password to connect to it ?

Re: HP printer won’t connect to new router
With a white Max Hub you may need to reduce the wireless security level from WPA3-T to WPA2-PSK using the Hub settings in the My Sky app.

Re: HP printer won’t connect to new router
@sheila195 HP printers can be a pain to connect.depending on the model reresetting the unit to its initial settings can help. You will have to search online on how to do that for your model.
i have has success in the past by temporarily connecting the printer to a PC by a usb cable and updating the printer's firmware from HP's site and then trying again which has worked.
Hope thst helps.

Re: HP printer won’t connect to new router
Absolute nightmare! Took 3 days to get it restarted again, by lowering the security settings and then back up again 😡

Re: HP printer won’t connect to new router
I have no idea how to do that ! But I managed to get it linked to my mobile phone and as the phone and Computer are on the same network ...it works !! But I spent all day on this ...and now trying to scan something! More work to do.
I wont buy another HP for certain... well done for not throwing it in the bin!!

Re: HP printer won’t connect to new router
Thank you this worked for setting up my printer and my old iPad. I did have to set the printer up as a new one as otherwise it wouldn't recognise the password.
