New max hub keeps dropping out

Old hub was fine new faster hub keeps dropping out. It's much newer technology, but has worse performance.

I'm having an identical issue. Internet works fine for about 10 minutes then the hub starts flashing green and cuts everything out

@Lou+frances & @Marcus2 the Sky Max hub is quite a bit different from the older hubs. First point a flashing green light means it is not connecting to the line so assuming it has been plugged in correctly call Sky to find out why it is not connecting.

The WiFi range is roughly the same as the old black hubs BUT if you have Sky Q boxes these no longer act as extenders for your other devices. This catches a lot of people out the new hubs can only use the matched extender pods you can get if you buy the WiFi Max add-on see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

As with any wifi source the speed you get depends on the layout and type of construction of your home. Makecsurectge hub is in the best position which is on a surface out in the open.

Re: New max hub keeps dropping out

My hub stays on (white light) and the connection to devices keeps dropping out (annoying if streaming or playing a game). I've got WiFi hotspot enabled on sky boxes. Should that be turned off then?
