New install and WiFi dropping
Had new Sky installation 2 weeks ago, I am having an issue in one room with devices connecting to WiFi. Apple devices, TV, Google Home and Amazon Echo will connect but will often disconnect during the day. I can walk into the room, sit down and start watching a video for instance and it will just buffer and then disconnect.
My son has an iPad and it is constantly dropping with Error 277 (internet connection related) but downstairs near the router it is fine and does not happen to any device.
Have already had an engineer come out a few days ago who added an additional WiFi hub (i have 2 now) and advised we turn off Shield, which i did, i have also temporarily tried turning off Firewall on the router just in case.
TV in same room with the issue also pops up often saying there is an issue with the internet connection and then resarts whatever streaming app we are using. Everything was fine with another provider and has only been this since i have had Sky. I do have a lot of wireless devices - i counted 23 maximum connected at any one time and i have the 300mb broadband package, Sky Glass and 2 Sky stream puck things.
Any ideas will be kindly received! TIA

Re: New install and WiFi dropping
@Noddie77 WiFi signal strength depends on the layout and type of construction of your home. The Sky WiFi Max package uses the 5GHz band to link the pods to the Sky hub these signals are less able to penetrrate solid walls than the 2.4GHz band so if your home is traditionally built that would explain why the Sky system is not performing thst well.
There are several possiblle ways forward firstly asking Sky for a third pod. Howeverca bettercsolution could be to buy your own whole home WiFi sokution ratger than "renting" Sky's by paying for WiiFi Max. If you want to stream video etc this can be a sendible investment. The simplest set up is to turn tge Skyhub's wifi off and connect one satellite unit to the hub by ethernet. It is the solution I use myself as Sky's system does not work well in my own home.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode
