Wi Fi on laptop
Just got sky steam and the Wi Fi will not work on my laptop. I have put the sky address and password on laptop ok, but says can't connect. But I know the WiFi is working. Why won't it connect.

Do you have Sky Broadband? You need to connect your laptop to the WiFi generated by your broadband router, you don't connect your laptop to a Sky Stream puck.
You need to open the WiFi settings on your laptop, look for the WiFi name that your broadband router is sending out (there'll be a sticker on the router) and connect to it with the password also supplied on the router.

Yes I have the Router and it's working fine and I've put the address and password on my laptop, but no joy.

Re: Wi Fi on laptop
@BrendaNewton48 Your wifi issue isn't a Sky Stream puck related problem, therefore your post has been moved to the correct board for Broadband related issues.
Sky Stream is a TV box, not broadband box.
