New hub box
Morning all!
Have received new broadband box. Do I just unplug cables from old broadband box and then plug them into new one? Have 2 cables into it, power being one, and I assume the phone cable despite not having landline plugged into a phone. All my cables are hidden into a custom media wall, Sky Q box mounted behind TV, although I do have access. Broadband box mounted on a lower shelf. Bit annoyed as the box has almost doubled in size and changed orientation so it doesn't fit where the unit was designed for it to fit, but hey ho.
Im not thick 😂. My builder set it all up when we had the wall built, and the instructions that came with the new box are all for a new set up not just a "box for box" replacement.
thanks.

Presumably you previously had a Q Hub, which was always a lousy shape for WiFi. The change in orientation permits housing a better aerial array.

Be nice if it works in the garden then! Do want it sometimes in the summer (if we get a summer that is!)

When setting up the new Hub, for optimal WiFi coverage, it should ideally be placed out in the open rather than within a closed shelving area.
