New hub. No internet light

We just installed our new sky hub today (thursday) and have had no wifi at all. Only the wifi and power lights are on and we've unplugged and plugged everything in a few times. It says it was activated by an engineer so not sure what the problem is. It's very frustrating.

Re: New hub. No internet light

@Pinkfloydfan @Tatiana87 Hi, what is your router plugged into? Is it using the filters into the telephone socket or is it using an ONT box?

This depends on whether you can also power off and back on this ONT after 10 minutes to see if new settings are pushed through and then reset your router again to check

Re: New hub. No internet light

Ok so I've sorted it out. Hopefully you've made the same silly mistake I have so it's an easy fix. According to the instructions, I was suppose to use the grey cable and not the black if I have a phone socket with only one port, which I do. HOWEVER.. turns out I needed to the black cable and NOT the grey. So if you have the same as I do, no phone, one phone socket with one port, use the black cable! Hope this helps you 👍

Thats not an ideal solution you would need to get a microfilter/broadband splitter that will seperate the broadband and voice signals
