No BT cable to my home

We're having Openreach aka BT then Sky installed in a couple of weeks  but we've been customers of Virgin Media forever and I've noticed that there is no cable/wire attached to our house unlike the rest of our street. 

Do I need to inform anyone prior to delivery?

@Phil.r59  If you are having broadband installed at the property by Sky. Does it say in track orders if this is a remote activation or does an engineer need to visit?

I have engineers physically coming to install both BT and Sky

@Phil.r59Are you getting Sky broadband or is your broadband being provided by BT?

Probably Openreach rather than 'BT' : although BT Group owns Openreach, they don't trade under that name any more.  If you are being provisioned over FTTP, it's not unusual for Openreach to put in fibre as far as the CSP while Sky does the ONT installation
