New customer no connection

I'm a new sky customer and I tried setting up my broadband but its not working. Called sky and customer service were nice but didnt escalate the problem as I feel they should. All I'm told is to download sky app to check connection myself. Why can't the problem be resolved in a better way? If IT or an engineer is needed it should be a quick response because sky should know by now how to fix things. Not very impressed to be honest

My activation day was the 10th September

@NCZS  Try this, log out of the Sky app and uninstall it.  Then reset the router and then re-install the Sky app and then log back in to the app if this does not work come back let us know and we can then escalate this to Sky.
