Re: New Sky Max wi fi 6 router issues and Returning Sky Q Hub
We are experiencing the same issue, upgraded to fibre 150 , was sent the latest white router ( sent back the old black router using the cardboard box and return label with the new router came in )
and the new router is nowhere as good as the one we have sent back . This is causing us issues as my wife works from home and connection is constantly dropping out which never happened before, the new router is in the exact place where the old one was and my wife's office hasn't moved either 🤷♂️

@Sparkyjedi do you have Sky Q tv boxes? If so you have lost the use of their wifi hotspots which Sky seem not to warn people about. I found the new hub had similar range as the black hub it replaced but I did nit have Q boxes when I switched.

Re: New Sky Max wi fi 6 router issues and Returning Sky Q Hub
Recently switched from the black to the white router and am plagued with issues: connection frequently drops completely; issues connecting old (WiFi 4) extender devices to the new (WiFi 6) network; blackspots where there convention was previously ok. As with others, the white hub has been placed in the exact spot where the black one was. As other issues logged in this forum appear to confirm, I'd have been better off keeping the old black hub. I am seriously looking at ways to unwind my new contract because this is causing me so much stress. And there's no way claims that the MySky app has functionality to fix these persistent issues. Sky customer service is usually brilliant but I've been struggling to maintain my cool on the phone, simply due to how frustrated these faults are.

Re: New Sky Max wi fi 6 router issues and Returning Sky Q Hub
I feel your pain, I'm in exactly the same boat, very little issues with the old black router , but this new latest white router which we've have roughly 3 - 4 weeks is dropping off repeatedly, no good when working from home and getting through to sky to talk to someone is getting harder and harder .

Thank you for that information, I've just activated the hotspot setting on the main Sky Q box, so fingers crossed that will resolve the issue 🤞
