New SKY Hub 4.2

SKY recently replaced my hub  as the old one was no longer supported.  I have connected my desk top, TV and Phone to the new feed successfully.  However my HP WiFi printer refuses to connect or even open the WiFi.  Is this a known problem, am I doing something wrong, not doing something, or what? I have followed all the recommended proceedures so is it the printer, WiFi or something else?

Re: New SKY Hub 4.2

Thanks for your responses.  I have managed to solve the problem when resurrecting our old PC and printer I realised that the USB cable for that printer was still there so I connected the newPC and printer to see if they would talk via the USB link.  Lo and behold not only did the printer respond it also accessed the wifi hub so now it is working properly via wifi and/or USB.  Rhanks anyway.

You may need to seperate the wifi into different ssids so the printer can see the 2.4ghz band

With a white Max Hub you may need to reduce the wireless security level from WPA3 to WPA2-PSK using the Hub settings in the My Sky app.

You can use the same settings to temporarily disable the 5Ghz WiFi band: remember to re-enable it afterwards if you do this.
