New Contract

Hello,

Last week or so I emailed Sky asking advice but had no reply so thought I would ask here but my illness affects me from getting to the point so if that is a concern than please do not read as do not want to be trolled.

Basically since my 18 moth initial contract finished I have paid a £40 increase for the same services each month but from April it will be £65  total increase so out of curiousity BT and Virgin both will offer me £70 less each month for the same services so I have enjoyed Sk 100 percent but it is a massive saving to me £70 a month.

Do you know or have any idea whether Sky would reduce my bill as no-one from Sky has replied to my messages and I am just paying manually month by month but need to act quick. Martin Lewis the money expoert said something about Now but have not read the e-mail properly yet as not properly awake.

Will Sky kindly respond to my e-mail or on here at least as I cannot get to the point on the phone with mental health issues.

Thanks to you all and Happy New Year ( a bit late to say that)

Bye

Sky won't respond to an email or forum post about contract renewals or pricing: that's just not their business model.

@Worthless1

If you have been with Sky for more than 18 months and not renewed your discounts then yes you will be paying signficantly more than Sky's competitors will be offering to new customers.

I would recommend you call Sky and go through to cancellations, they will then offer you a better deal.

Re: New Contract

Hi

Many thanks for your kind message and Sky say that I already have the best deal they can offer at the moment but looking at my bill for April (upcoming) it is going to cost me just over £25 more and BT and Virgin are offering much cheaper for their 18 month contract saving would be £66 a month for exactly what I get now but at the same time have been a very happy customer with Sky but they will not drop me  down £65 when I rang them up so they say it is April increase everywhere.

Sorry but have been unwell and would have messaged earlier but nice to hear from you as I rarely speak to anyone nowadays .
