New Broadbad Router

I have received a new broadband router in the post that I did not order. There is a note in the box telling me not to install this until informed to do so. I they recevied an email to return equipment or I will be charged £53. I am asuming this is the old router? However I still dont know why I have received a new one in the first place or when to install this. Hope someone can help.

What router did you have,,?

Which one did they send out?

Have you upgraded to full fibre?
