Network issues
We had a storm Wednesday night which tripped our electrics, since then we have no internet connection on the sky router power and wireless are green but internet intermittently flashes amber. I have tried all the resets but nothing happens. Network connection has an x by it
my husband has the account for broadband. With sky and they are coming out 11 June to upgrade as apparently our old broadband connection is being switched off hence why it's not working they say (funny how it was ok till the storm)I work from home and there must be a way of solving this. Not sure if I need sky engineer out before broadband but trying to speak to someone is a nightmare!! Any help would be much appreciated

What they have told you is a load of nonsense as your current line should continue to work before you upgrade to Sky fibre.
Try running this line test to see if it finds any faults:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.
After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can
